Hi everyone, thank you for joining me on the mat. Today’s practice is an exploration of pigeon pose and all of it’s different variations! Pigeon pose requires external hip rotation so this 30 minute class will help to stretch our your hips, hamstrings and lower back while also giving you a great workout. We will be building some upper body and core strength while also working on our balance.
This is an intermediate to advanced level class with no props required. We will do reclined pigeon, twisted reclined pigeon, seated pigeon, standing pigeon, flying pigeon and finally the traditional version of pigeon pose. Get ready to work! Enjoy 🙂
