Overview

This is a 30 minute Hatha yoga flow. It is pregnancy friendly, through all trimesters. Yoga is one form of movement that is particularly great for this season of life, and possible to continue right through to the arrival of baby.

In this class we begin with some intentional breaths. As we get moving we will stretch the full body in ways that will make you more comfortable throughout your pregnancy, as well as in preparing for delivery.

When pregnant, it is particularly important to focus on the breath during your practice and avoid any sort of breath retention.

Please have two blocks handy, along with any other props that will help you feel comfortable.

Please make sure you speak with your healthcare provider before diving into yoga during pregnancy. If you experience any pain or discomfort, take a rest or end the practice early.
