Every yin yoga asana will be paired with an affirmation, for you to repeat to yourself and notice how it makes you feel. Taking the practice beyond the physical, to tap into the emotional, mental, and spiritual.
About your instructor
Kassandra is an Ottawa-based yoga instructor on a mission to help others feel great with yoga. She started practicing yoga in 2008 as a way to become more flexible and learn to manage stress and anxiety. Little did she know that in a few short years she would have the privilege of becoming a yoga teacher, passionately committed to sharing yoga with others who are sick of feeling less than vibrant.

Success can be in any area of your life. The affirmations serve as a tool to discover any limiting beliefs that may be holding you back. And also to show you the beliefs you have that are supporting you towards achieving your goals.
Yin Yoga & Affirmations for Love and Compassion
This class has to do with all aspects of the heart chakra. We will focus on opening up our heart physically, so that we can hopefully open it up mentally, emotionally, and energetically. Poses include heart openers, back bends, and those that will open the front of body, shoulders and get in to the spine.
Yin Yoga & Affirmations for Intuition
This class is about cultivating intuition and imagination. It is a fun, creative and motivating practice. Great if you are in need of a boost of inspiration.
Yin Yoga & Affirmations to Heal the Inner Child
This practice will touch on the part of our self that needs a little more love, care and attention. It might take you back to when you were a little kid, and the needs that may not have been met. Take the time as an adult to care and meet that inner child’s needs, and work through childhood traumas.
Yin Yoga & Affirmations for Confidence
In this class we will tap in to the Solar Plexus Chakra’s energy, to work on self esteem, willpower and willingness to be seen for who we really are. In order to shine as our authentic, unique self.
Yin Yoga & Affirmations for Abundance
Think of abundance not just in terms of wealth and prosperity, but also in abundance of creativity, time, relationships. Whatever you want to call more of in to your life. To attract that, and also work on the areas that have a bit more resistance. Shift from a scarcity and lack mentality, and move into an abundance mindset.
