Hi everyone, thanks for joining me. This summer I’ve really gotten into long distance running and have found that stretching afterwards is a non-negotiable to ensure I recover properly and feel good in my body. I’m going to take you through the sequence I do after each run to release tension from my hips, legs and feet.
We are targeting the primary muscles and joints used while running and the poses can be intense, so please be mindful of not pushing yourself too far. Stay connected to your breath and try to soften into the poses. I’m not using any props in this class but you can certainly have a couple of blocks.
