Hey everyone, I’m super excited to be sharing this practice with you! It was really challenging and really fun so I think you will enjoy it. Cleo decided to participate in this one too and she is super cute as always π
This is a true power yoga class that will work on core strength, asymmetrical poses, thigh and glute strength as well as balance. We also begin with a powerful breathing exercise to stoke oue inner fire and warm up the shoulders. Rest assured I always include some flexibility stretches in my classes so this will be well-rounded flow.
This is an intermediate level class and you’ll want to have 2 blocks.
Challenging class, for sure. Boat transitions especially powerful, hard. Keep these coming with your kitty!

Just what I needed.
Dear Kassandra, thank you so much for this class! I had already been waiting for this! I really love these 45-60 minute long intermediate to advanced classes with powerful flows and also some flexibility work. I tried this one immediately yesterday and it felt great! : ) Although I have to admit that I found it quite challenging – in particular some of the tricky transitions and also the warrior-3-squats… But this class will definitely be included in my favourite list : ). Many thanks for being such a wonderful companion throughout this pandemic – your classes truly help me keeping up my resilience. Have a joyful Christmas time and a lucky turn of the year. Happy New Year I’m 60 years old started yoga exactly 1 year ago and this was up there with the most challenging classes I have done with you. A great way to start the NY with a new challenge in these covid times. U definitely need to do the class again as I think I was only 90% in tune at best. However I’m looking forward to tomorrows calendar class already so just wanted to take the time and say thank you from the UK. Best wishes Andrew and Namaste

Thanks for the class! Much more challenging than I am used to. You did an excellent job transitioning from one leg to boat pose. My body feels awake and alive after this class! I loved how Cleo was walking around and under you during class-so cute!
What an energizing way to start the new year. I took this class from the January calendar. Some poses were challenging but good, in pistol squats I had to use blocks as I cannot do them due to knee injuries. Loved the class anyway and Chleo is adorable, have two cats myself.
Perfect on this first day of this new year! The transitions from standing up to boat pose were challenging for me. I will keep on practicing….

That was pretty tough, but worth it π For me the boat poses are most difficult. I find it hard to get the lower back to the floor. And loooove seeing Cleo <3
I loved this challenge! The squat to boat pose I really can’t do yet but I’ll keep doing this class until I see improvement. I would love to see more power flow classes.

Great challenge – but so rewarding. I definitely have to work on the standing poses, one legged squad and transitioning to boat pose. And Cleo is so adorable π

I just love this class and getting better each time. Still have to work on the balancing poses and transitioning from one leg squat to boat, as well as high and low boat. But, whoa, what an energy booster this practise is! Thank you so much, Kassandra

Wowβ¦..in all my years of practice ive never tried a one arm downward dog. That was a challenge!
Love itπ₯° vigorous and challenging
we nearly gave up at 20mins, but perservered. It was difficult but we feel good now that we did it. Off for a shower!

I found the warrior 3 variation poses challenging but in a good way. Cleo is so fluffy, I liked how she looped through and under your arms. too funny!

Wow! This was cahllenhing and gave me so many goaals to strive toward. Two legged down dog, boat pose variations and one legged squats to name a few. Ill keep working and try this again in a minth to see my growth.

Had forgotten how powerful this one was π π my ankles aren’t flexible due to past injury so the one-legged pistol is a challenge but injust went as far as i could…which was far enough! My boat also needs work π€£ thanks again so much π§πΌββοΈπ±
