Overview

Welcome to part of Day 2! Now that you’ve stretched your body with a 10 minute morning yoga class, you’re ready to learn your simple daily challenge for a flexible mind.

Today’s challenge is based around the one-word intention: DREAM

This challenge consists of writing a letter to yourself 10 years from now. Grab your journal, sit in silence for a few minutes and then write a love letter to your future self! You can include all of your hopes, dreams and well wishes. Let it free flow and try not to judge what comes out. Allow yourself to dream!

Something really hit me with this challenge. Aging can be tough business to think about for over 50. But this challenge really emphasized to me the importance of being flexible and keeping moving, doing YOGA as long as I possibly can! I do not take my health for granted and want to do everything I can to support my health which includes movement. Thats my 10 year challenge.

So i was never good at this type of journaling. I am 44. Born with Tetralogy of Fallot. Doctors had always put a time frame on me. I was never much of a dreamer or where i see myself in X amount of years. I am hopeful that i will still be alive. With my family. I know I’ll have a few more surgeries under my belt. S

I just wrote my letter even though I almost skipped it because it’s not really my “thing.” I’ve thought about it all day, though, and it really flowed when I sat down and started writing. Thanks for challenging me to do something so out of my comfort zone! My future self will be glad I did.

That makes me happy!! Thanks for going for it
