Hey yogis, I’m adding on to my popular Minimal Cues yoga series with a 45 minute practice geared towards intermediate to advanced students! Get ready to stretch your hips and hamstrings with this dynamic flow. In a minimal cues practice I will only tell you the name of the pose and we will hold each pose for about 3 breaths. This is ideal for experienced students or yoga teachers who want to be guided in their practice without hearing to much chatter. We’ll be working our way into some pretty deep poses such as revolved triangle and splits. I’m not using any props for this class. This is one of my favorite practices of yours. It combines a lot of poses that are great for my body (and also Dolphin, the bane of my yoga existence) and I love minimal cues and the longer practices. Huzzah!

Whenever I do minimal cues yoga sessions I feel like I’ve arrived, like I’ve graduated to a higher realm in my yoga practice. I like how Kassandra specifies that this class is for experienced yogis and specifically saying it’s about safety and knowing about the alignments just to be safe. The minimal cues classes are meant for anyone that has solid experience with yoga poses and it’s not about it being harder it’s just about safely aligning yourself to protect against injury. Definitely do these classes when you feel ready and have a solid understanding how to safely move in to each pose. I appreciate guided and minimal cues. Thank you Kassandra and this community.
