Hey everyone, I’ve got a fun and challenging yoga class for you! This is almost an hour long and will work your core, hips and shoulders. This is best suited for intermediate to advanced students as we will be preparing ourselves for flying splits (eka pada kundinyasana 2) and headstand (sirsasana). These poses are completely optional so please don’t let this scare you from trying the class! You will absolutely be able to leave them out if needed and modify.
Even though this class requires strength we’ll also have lots of deep stretches added. No props are required, just a positive attitude 😉
Enjoy!
Holy moly, couldn’t do any of the flying split. But, yay, I was able to do the headstand, and was able to separate from wall for a couple breaths. Thank-you for this challanging practice. Namaste
Loved this! I tried hard but couldn’t do the flying split and I did crow pose because I can’t do headstand yet. I hope you offer more of these classes. Thank you!
I enjoyed the class! do you have any suggestions on this: when we were doing the leg swings from down dog the foot on the mat kept slipping back. Thank you!
Wow, that was hard. some poses i wasnt able to do as too advanced. but i wanted to give it a go and was really pleased with my progression since doing yoga with you Kassandra. thank you
Wow what a great class my body is burning! I could not get into the flying splits poses. Could you maybe do a tutorial to break those down slower? Definitely would love to add those poses to my practice!
Thank you so much for this awesome class, Kassandra! From the very first seconds, I loved it! And for the very first time, thanks to your perfectly built up class, I managed to get somewhere close to Ekapada II – a thing I never dared to believe (although I’m not sure what it looked like ; ) – but it felt very rewarding : )). Thank you again.
So much fun! Very challenging but your positive attitude helped me stay positive and light so I was able to enjoy my wonky flying splits and laugh at myself trying out eka pada 2. My soul feels happy and cheery! I will definitely do this again and would love to see more powerful classes with peak poses.
What a great challenge. Of course, I was not able to do the more advanced poses like the flying splits, but I managed to stay in the starting position for those on the floor. Would it be possible to have a tutorial about how to get to these poses? The headstand I did with a bit of cheating with a rip-off feets up device. Nevertheless, I feel so good now – energized. Thank you so much, Kassandra, I will keep practicing this flow!
Wonderfully challenging. I loved it! Some poses were too hard for me, but I felt strong and took in the amazing vibes at the end. Thank you!!
Tough class and challenging ….want more!!!!!
Really hard, but at the same time a perfect challenge. Love more of this type of practises.
I think I’m an early intermediate, lacking the strength to be full intermediate but making progress. I was excited to be able to do most of the poses in this practice, all but the side planks, flying splits, and headstand. Thank you for the challenge and for helping me progress from beginner to where I am now.
Wow, great! I couldn’t do the flying splits, the headstand or the arm balance, but it was still a lot of fun.You are the very first fitness/yoga instructor that made me finally enjoy exhausting sessions. I really loved it and I’m so proud of myself 🙂
My second time with this challenging flow, doing a bit better with the spilts but not really getting there. Is there any pose that I can do to practise this? Anyway, I am feeling great now, thank you!
I loved this class. Tough but doable, except for flying splits. I even did headstand, which I haven’t done since I was a teenager forty-one years ago! And I loved K’s summary, “There is really no end goal with yoga. The poses truly don’t matter. It doesn’t mean anything about you, whether you can do something or not. It’s all about what we learn along the way, and that’s where that wonderful growth comes from. So let yourself relax in appreciation a little longer…”
Wow! I can do flying splits now! The first time I did this class I couldn’t and I just did it today as part of the March challenge and I’m feeling really strong and proud of my progress! woohoo!
This was well beyond my ability level but I stuck it out to the end, modifying where I needed to and could, resting when I was becoming wobbly. Thank you for our words at the end. They kept me from beating myself up.
Great class, loved it. Couldn’t do all flying stuff..but managed to stick to the entire session. Thanks so much!
you kicked my booty Kassandra. OOF! Fun challenge.
Agree with so many comments. Great challenge for a new intermediate yogi. Pushed me further than ever. Thank you!
Thank YOU!! Feels so good to challenge myself. We often limit ourselves in fear of failure but the yoga mat has taught me to embrace my fears and learn from the falls.
I would love to see more of these types of practices on your channel. Thank you so much for the challenge!
So nice and rewarding. Thank you.
great flow. Have been practicing it once in a while and I have really improved on some poses. Kassandra you cannot imagine the good you did to me that I found you. Lots of love,
namaste
Loved this practice. Can’t do a headstand and those floating ankle to picky finger…oh la la! One day I’ll get there.
Really loved this one. Thank you!
Beautifull challenge!! Thank you for the final words, thay kept me from beating myself up !!
It was so hard. I was able to do the flying solits on one side and definitely tried hard om the other. Did the handstand for my first time without needing the wall the emtire time. Thank you for the kind words at the end. I was fedlong gery fridtrated and that helped me let it go and refocus.
This one is always very intense for me but it is definitely part of my favorite ones! I always feel relaxed and accomplished afterwards. Thank you for that!
This class was pleasantly challenging.
More please 👍🏼🥳

Wow.. Finally got to the end of this class. Fab class🌈🌈🙏🙏
Yay! Not an easy one by any means
Loved this class thank you! Please more of these advanced classes working towards peak poses 🙏🧡
Enjoy the challenge…lovely class.
Great class! Thank you! More please 💜
Loved this class! Very challenging! Would love more like this! Thanks for everything you do Kassandra you are wonderful, and so are your classes!
🤞🤞🤞
What a challenge! I loved the down dog, knee to nose, table top and plank transitions, this really gets the heart pace going. But, I was not able to do the arm suspensions, this is just too hard. The headstand I managed with my feet up, so a bit of cheating 🙂 But, all together I do feel really good as I have made it through. I’d love some more challenges like this. Thanks so much, Kassandra!
No such thing as cheating in yoga – they’re just modifications, or taking alternates because you’re listening to your body. Which in a way is really the advanced yoga
I made it through – what a challeinge. Still not able to do the arm balances, but everything else. So proud that I saw it through. Thanks Kassandra 🙂
Yay!! Well done
