It’s time to get creative! Grab your blocks and join me in this 35 minute power yoga class for strength, balance and flexibility. We’re going to use the blocks to put a spin on traditional yoga poses and transitions. Blocks are an amazing way to evolve and progress your practice.
This is an intermediate practice and similar to iron yoga as the blocks can be used to add weight to your poses. Rest assured we’ll have a nice cooldown stretch at the end. Remember, sometimes the real challenge is mental just as much as it is physical! You can do it!!

I really enjoyed this power class. Good challenge. I havent done a class lime this since the covid lockdown.
Found it hard with the blocks and my slightly arthritic hands. Will try it again though.
Really enjoyed the class and the challenge. Found it trickier to balance and do the high lunge, warrior 3 and side twist on the left side. Interesting to feel the difference between that and my right side. Thank you x

I enjoy all your classes, and since starting daily yoga thanks to your 10-minute morning yoga program, I’ve been practicing yoga nearly every day. This class is hard, but each time I do it, I see myself improving on my balance. I’d love classes to strengthen the spine and improve balance. I so appreciate that you explain the positions. That has made all the difference for me.

Wow, that was challenging! Especially the standing sequence. I enjoyed it a lot! Also I have to emphasize just how wonderful your style of teaching is. You always give the right amount of cues, your timing is perfect and your voice and way with words are so encouraging and calming.
I’ve done this practice a few times now and its slowly getting easier, although balance on my right leg was nonexistent today! 🤣

I really liked these variations! Especially high lunge to Vira 3 to twist — that was so interesting, and really proud of myself that I didn’t fall out of them, lol. The block really helped! Thanks for always adding great new classes!
Blocks are incredible for your practice
Thank you, this class was both challenging and rewarding. I find it difficult to have the blocks under my spine, it always feels very uncomfortable.
Try a bolster instead, or pad your blocks with some blankets
I like rhe power yoga. More wiuld be good.

Thank you Kassandra for this super class ! Challenging just enough for a Sunday morning ! Just during the flow with the hands on the block, the plank was painful for rists, and aml the weight was on my rists, couldn’t shift it to the fingers. Do you know any exercise to correct this ? Also , i love the fact that we always have an easy variation at hand that work for us !

Thank you so much for doing this class. I too found that my right wrist was having some pain during the hands on the block plank transitions. Also the standing three transitions were a challenge for my balance. I guess I should be doing more balancing classes. Overall this class made me feel really good and the challenges were amazing. Thank you again.
